On December 19th 2021, Under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, Dr. Nadra Assaf was honored for her contribution to the performing arts in Lebanon and the region.

During a ceremony organized by ‘Ard el Mobdeen Institute and Centre Tammouz, Dr. Nadra Assaf was awarded the Lifetime Achievement award after a career spanning 31 years. Dr. Assaf dedicated her life to Dance in Lebanon and the region. This award was presented to her for her brilliant achievements as an Associate Professor, educator, choreographer, and advocate for the arts. The ceremony included a dedication performance choreographed and performed by Al Sarab’s Christel Farah and Sarah Fadel.

We are extremely grateful for all that Dr Assaf has done, and we cannot thank her enough for all the sacrifice, love, and passion.
